This section of the DDEX Knowledge Base contains Version 1.1.1 of the Radio Broadcast Reporting Profile for the Digital Sales Reporting Message Suite Standard
The message defined in this standard provides a mechanism for Licensees (typically Digital Service Providers) to report to Rights Controllers (typically Music Rights Societies, Music Licensing Companies, Music Publishers and/or Record Companies) Usage, Revenue or Sales from broadcasts of Products based on electronic Releases containing Sound Recordings.
This standard comprises six clauses and one annex. Clauses 1-4 provide the scope, abbreviations and core definitions used in this standard. Clauses 5 and 6 then defines the profile.
Finally Annexes A provides some examples.
Version 1.1 clarifies the relationship between the different Record Types used and makes use of updated record Types.

5 Broadcast Reporting Profile
To indicate that a Sales/Usage Report is created in accordance with this Variant, the Profile Cell in the HEAD Record shall contain the value
BroadcastReportingProfile and the
ProfileVersion Cell shall contain the value
The following Records shall be communicated for each Block in this order:
None or one Release Record RE01.02.
One Sound Recording Record AS01.02 followed by one or more Musical Work Records MW01.02 or one Sound Recording Record AS02.03. The Sound Recording Record is the Record against which any sales/usage figure is provided.
For each AS01.02 or AS02.03 Record: One or more Sales/Usage Records SU05.01.
The Blocks shall be preceded by one or more Summary Record SY08.01 for each Broadcast Channel and Rights Controller to whom the Sales Report Message is addressed, to provide information on Usage, Revenue or Sales allocated to that Rights Controller according to the calculations made by the Message Sender.
The table below provides an overview of the order and cardinality of the Records to be used in this Profile.
