Welcome to the primary resource for information regarding the DDEX Standards

On this site you can find information on how to implement specific DDEX Standards. The areas addressed are listed depicted below.

Information about a forthcoming DDEX Standard

DDEX is in the latter stages of developing a new standard for the communication of Media Enrichment and Description information (MEAD) to augment the data shared using the Release Notification Delivery Standards (ERN). The ERN Standards are mainly focused on providing data for the digital supply chain and to enable subsequent rights management activities using other DDEX Standards. MEAD is a means by which to provide data about parties, releases, resources such as sound recordings, and works which would not normally be seen in the data used in supply chain or rights management activities. In MEAD this includes such things as awards information or charting information and a great deal more besides.

To read more about what MEAD can be used for (and how) please have a look here.
