Tariff parameter types and values
The DSR and CDM standards provide, in multiple record types, pairs of cells that support the communication of data related to tariffs.
The standards do not, however, define, the specific semantics of such data. Instead, the standards provide key/value pairs of cells that enable a message sender to provide values (TariffParameterValue) for specific parameters (TariffParameterType).
Such parameters would typically be defined in bilateral agreements and might include percentages (e.g. a royalty rate), absolute numbers (e.g. the maximum number of downloads permitted before royalties are due) or monetary data points (e.g. an agreed minimum).
Monetary data points would be provided, unless otherwise agreed, in the currency of invoicing used for the record containing the TariffParameterType and the TariffParameterValue.
