Best Practices for Catalogue Transfers

The Best Practices for Catalogue Transfers was created in order to assist a company relinquishing a catalogue of sound recordings, music videos and/or Releases and other companies effected by that process, which would include the company acquiring such catalogues and any DSPs that already offer the content from the transferred catalogue who wish to make the transfer as smooth as possible. The intention is that the process should take place with minimal disruption for all the parties, including consumers.

The text of the Best Practices for Catalogue Transfers can be found here.

Remember, at least before going live with an implementation, you will need to take out a DDEX Implementation Licence. Information about the Implementation Licence can be found here and the application form is available here.
